Linda is a registered Interplay Facilitator certified in Humanistic Play Therapy with Interplay Australia, formally Play Therapy Australia.

 

Interplay is a non-directive approach combining humanistic principles, attachment theory and neurobiology, where parents/care givers are integral to the child's therapeutic process and play is their language.

Linda is also a registered Early Childhood Teacher with the Victorian Institute of Teaching. With more than twenty five years in education Linda has extensive experience in early intervention, play based programs and supporting children with Autism.  She understands the significance play has in building social relationships, communication, learning and development, and emotional wellbeing. 

 

While the  Interplay modality can be applied therapeutically for experiences such as  trauma and attachment disruption, the core principles of Interplay Therapy can also be integrated to support parent/child relationships, behaviour, transitions and learning.
